Course Description
An introduction to student strategies focused on mindfulness and the CASEL Core SEL Competencies. Numerous mindfulness practices and resources will be taught by our CEO, Ben Koch--a certified Mindfulness expert.

What am I going to get from this course?
The word "zen" implies balance, and this course applies that harmonizing concept to the balance between the academic and social-emotional. After introducing the CASEL SEL Core Competencies, this level one course will focus on self-awarenes--adding in strong application for mindfulness. You will receive classroom practices that restore calm and promote self-awareness.
As a bonus, all participants of Zen in the Classroom will receive a digital set of Social & Emotional Learning practice cards from our partner, Present Moment Labs. These cards include easy-to-implement activities and practices to bring research-based SEL and mindfulness directly into your learning environment.
